How to Get to Baler
Travel time from Manila to Baler is approximately 5 to 6 hours. The Joy Bus of Genesis Transit is the easiest way to get there if you need public transportation. Baler can also be reached by bus to Cabanatuan via the Victory Liner. You’ll have to transfer from there to a van or another bus to Baler.
Genesis Transport Inc. provides a direct route from Manila Metro to Baler. Depending on the traffic, the bus ride will take 5 to 8 hours, depending on the price of the P500. The terminal is located at EDSA in Pasay City, and Cuba and leaves from 3:00 AM at hourly intervals on its first journey. You can also take buses such as the Victory Liner that go to Cabanatuan and then take a public cab to Baler at the terminal. The last ferry trip depends on passenger numbers. Van is 2.5 hours of travel time.
Genesis Transport has a more comfortable alternative with its Joy Bus executive coach. The Joy Bus has an on-board comfort room, free snacks served by a bus manager, free WiFi, blanket and pillow, and a beautiful morning kit. For P700+, you can travel with style and NO STOPOVERS. By Taxi or Private Vehicle
From Manila, get into Balintawak on the North Expressway and exit at SCTEX (enter LaPaz, toll gate of Tarlac). From there, follow the road to Aliaga and Nueva Ecija to Cabanatuan City. Take Nueva Ecija-Aurora from Cabanatuan City Proper, pass the towns of Talavera, Rizal, and Pantabangan to Aurora frontier, then through the villages of Maria Aurora, San Luis and finally Baler.
With its long, sandy coastline and soft and shallow ocean beds, Sabang Beach in Baler is suitable for surfers.
