I’ve been to Batangas several times, and I never get tired of going back. They have great food, stunning beaches, welcoming people, and close proximity to Manila. Aside from their Kapeng Barako (Batangas coffee), balisong (knife), and Lomi (egg noodles), tourists go here for the best resort in Batangas for family vacations.
One thing you should know about Batangas is that they are blessed with some of the most stunning shores in the country. Its capital, Batangas City, is the jump-off point to the world-renowned Verde Passage. Marine experts dubbed this strait as the “center of the center” of marine biodiversity.
If you’re planning a family vacation here, the first thing you’d surely look for is a resort to book. To help you out, I’ve listed eight of the best options based on my experience and the accounts of my traveling friends.
1. Acuatico Beach Resort & Hotel

If budget isn’t an issue for your vacation, I highly recommend the Acuatico Beach Resort & Hotel in Laiya, San Juan. This is a premium leisure resort where you can indulge in the luxuries of a family vacation.

Moreover, the resort itself has a stunning infinity pool, Jacuzzi, and kiddie pool. There’s even a floating bar where you can sip some refreshments while soaking your eyes on the Laiya sunset.
If you feel famished, you can dine at the Azul Bar & Café. In the afternoon, you can lounge by the pool or take a dip on the shoreline. Don’t miss their infinity pool too!
The rooms here are stylish and slightly lavish. It still feels homey with a great view of the sea.
The best thing about the Acuatico Beach Resort & Hotel is that it’s only three hours away from Manila. It’s a short drive for the kind of luxury you’ll enjoy with your family.
